Migrating to a new machine There is 1 reply.

I finally am upgrading my machine.

I would like to migrate my progress from my old machine (WinXP) to my new one (Win7).

I notice that most games which previously saved to "Application Data" in XP, now save to "Saved Games" in 7.

So, what's the correct path to which to copy my old machine's
C:/Documents and Settings/Dewi Morgan/Application Data/HackSlashLoo/t?

Do I copy it to the same place, or has it moved, in the newer OSs?

The game uses the %APPDATA% global variable for saving so no matter which version of Windows you are using you can find the location by typing %APPDATA% into the Windows Explorer URL bar.

Once the folder has been created, manually or by running HSL once, you can always find it by typing %APPDATA%/HackSlashLoot/ into the Windows Explorer URL bar.
